Effective [effective date]. Applies to the Revenue Is a Behavior online course and sidehillgroup.com.
The short version. Buying the course gives you a personal licence to use it in your own business. Please don’t share your login or redistribute the materials. The course teaches a method; results depend on how you apply it. The full terms below are what apply.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name, e.g. The Sidehill Group LLC] (“Sidehill”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you visit sidehillgroup.com, buy the Revenue Is a Behavior course (the “Course”), or use any related materials. By completing a purchase or accessing the Course, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.
If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes it.
The Course is a self-paced online program made up of video and written lessons, participant workbooks, templates, and guides. We may update, reorder, or improve lessons and materials over time to keep them accurate and useful. We won’t remove the core substance of what you bought.
After payment, you’ll receive access by email. Access is for the life of the Course, for as long as we continue to offer it online [or: for 12 months from purchase]. If we ever stop offering the Course, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice so you can download the materials available for download.
All Course content, including videos, text, workbooks, templates, frameworks, and branding, is owned by Sidehill or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Course and its materials to improve your own business. That includes:
You may not, without our written permission:
The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, in US dollars, plus any taxes required by law. Payments are processed by our payment provider [e.g. Stripe]; we don’t store your full card details. If you choose a payment plan, you authorise us to charge each instalment on schedule, and access may be paused if an instalment fails and isn’t resolved.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Course teaches a method for diagnosing and improving revenue performance. Any examples of results are illustrative. Your outcomes depend on your business, market, team, and how you apply the material, and we don’t promise any particular revenue, growth, or financial result.
The Course is general education. It isn’t legal, financial, tax, accounting, or employment advice tailored to your situation. Get qualified professional advice before making decisions in those areas.
We work hard to keep the Course accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, Sidehill won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Course. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Course is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, for example by sharing your login or redistributing materials. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If access ends because of a breach, you won’t be entitled to a refund. Sections on the licence, disclaimers, and liability continue to apply after access ends.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, email enrolled students. The Terms in force when you bought the Course continue to govern that purchase, except where a change is required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [state / country of governing law]. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.
